I am an anthropologist who is passionate about small museums. As the Executive Director of the Pinal County Historical Museum for five years, I have an understanding of the challenges facing small museums and the opportunities to best serve our communities for long-term sustainability. In 2022, I was awarded the Individual Award of Excellence from the Museum Association of Arizona. I am the 2023 Arizona Humanities Rising Star. I am currently serving statewide humanities organizations as Arizona Humanities Grants Manager.

I am the only full-time employee at the Pinal County Historical Museum, a 501(c)3 nonprofit history museum located in Florence, AZ. I wear many hats and have broad responsibilities to fulfill our mission and best serve our community. I develop and execute educational programs, keep our social media accounts active, I am our bookkeeper, our grant writer, I monitor our 1.45-acre property, lead our annual membership appeal, and I lead a team of 15 volunteers who contributed over 5,000 hours in 2021.
