My entrepreneurial journey took a new direction after the devastating loss of my son, Tommy, in 2020 to fentanyl poisoning. Grieving, I turned to baking as a way to heal, eventually launching this company as a tribute to his memory and a means to give back.Fat Kid Cookie Co. is about more than just cookies—it’s about resilience, community, and making a difference. A portion of every sale goes to supporting fentanyl awareness organizations, a cause deeply personal to me and one that I am passionate about spreading awareness for.Before founding Fat Kid Cookie Co., I spent over 20 years as a freelance photographer, specializing in interiors, portraiture, and family photos.
