Stephanie Lynch is a Co-Founder and the Managing Partner of Global Endowment Management (GEM), a leading Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) providing institutional investment capabilities for endowments, foundations, and other long-term investors. Stephanie is also a trustee for The Thacher School and is a member of the investment committee for the Baby J Fund, a private foundation supporting research for pediatric cancers. She previously served as trustee of the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Foundation and was a director of Novant Asset Management Co as well as a Trustee for the Florida State University Foundation, her alma mater.Prior to GEM, Stephanie spent seven years as the Chief Investment Officer at The Duke Endowment, one of the largest private foundations in the Southeast. She received significant industry recognition while in this role, including two nominations (in 2005 and 2006) for “CIO of the Year” by Institutional Investor. Previously, she also held positions in portfolio management, trading, and research at INVESCO Capital Management and Trade Street Investment Management.Stephanie is a highly sought-after thought leader in the OCIO and investment management industry and has shared her insights with publications including Pensions & Investments and Barron’s. She has also been an invited speaker and guest lecturer at Harvard Business School, as well as Columbia, Elon and Willamette Universities.She received a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University and is a CFA Charterholder.
