Trained as a cultural anthropologist, I have expertise in conducting attitudinal and behavioral research using a variety of methods including ethnography, 1:1 interviews, surveys, focus groups, diary studies, usability testing and heuristic evaluation from foundation to evaluation. I have focused on the UX of emerging technologies, including AR wearables, both as consumer products and research devices. Experience with conducting research across the product development lifecycle, including testing of early prototypes, before and after product launch. I provided actionable UX insights to partner teams as part of the public launch of Project Aria at Facebook Reality Labs Research in September of 2020. Once “in-market,” I continued as UXR lead for Aria, conducting studies on fit and comfort, user engagement, and social acceptability. I am currently part of the OneDrive UXR team at Microsoft.
