I truly believe that for businesses to be successful, deliberate action is required. Unfortunately, many small business owners are overwhelmed. They spend far too much time working in their businesses instead of on them. I started Doyenne Consulting to provide small business owners with systems and operations support. By helping them plan and implement key business strategies, their businesses can run more efficiently. When your business runs more efficiently, you can have a more significant impact on your clients. I love being behind the scenes and knowing that what I do matters! After earning my undergraduate degree, I went to work for the YWCA. Its mission is “eliminating racism and empowering women.” It was there, working 12-hour shifts in the women’s domestic violence shelter, that I learned that the number one predictor of when a woman can live a life free from violence is when she is financially able to do so. This early career experience ignited my passion for helping women gain financial freedom and independence. I have come to see the value of standardization, automation, flexibility, professionalism, and just plain getting it done. However, I have also had to work in an environment that is not always welcoming to women of color.I want to help women build companies that run well and appreciate what women in leadership bring to the table. These are some of the reasons I started Doyenne Consulting. I want to equip other women with the knowledge and support to move forward in their businesses. I believe that a woman armed with the proper knowledge and mindset (and, of course, the right pair of shoes) can concur with any business challenge…or the world. I want to be a part of that. On a personal side, I'm a huge SiFi fan. A good SiFi book or movie is a great way for me to unwind. Are you a service-based business owner ready to grow your business? I welcome you to contact me at stephanie@doyenneconsulting.com.
