-Interpret state and federal laws, directives, rules, and regulations.-Perform a full range of force protection, anti-terrorism, and sentry duties at installations or activities with significant operational assets, unrestricted access points, and large populations.-Detect and investigate unusual situations/conditions, take required action to resolve various incidents/situations, and request additional support, if necessary.-Control access to secure areas by determining which vehicles or personnel have credentials for entry to Navy Military Installation -Serve as a entry/control vehicle inspection team member, which conducts private and commercial vehicle inspections. -Ability to retain all persons found to be unauthorized to enter the installation and immediately contact the Security Forces to turn over persons suspected of issues that would be of an incriminating circumstance for question.-Direct vehicles and pedestrians during emergencies and normal rush hour traffic to ensure that the entry control process is running in accordance with established procedures and naval regulations.-Respond to emergency situations by implementing security protocols and regulations.-Conduct physical security checks of buildings or facilities during an assigned shift. -Compile evidence in accordance with mandated procedures.-Protect a crime scene by turning over information gathered at the scene of an incident to detectives or investigators.

-Protection of property maintained CCTV and physical surveillance; identify suspicious activity and accident investigations; conduct Audits involving money and inventory, fire and safety control, lost and found programs, knowledge of the use of programs like APIS(Aspect Protection Information Safety) and ASPECT Elitelp for cases and investigations.
