I learned early on in my life that interacting with people was a strong suite of mine. From the grandeur of public speaking to the intimacy of interpersonal disclosure, I developed a passion for all types of communication practices. Due to this skill set, I knew a career in communications and marketing was one for me. I am now a senior at Rutgers University- New Brunswick where I will be receiving a B.A. in Communication Studies along with a minor in Labor Studies.During my time at Rutgers, I was lucky enough to have been involved in a diverse array of activities. I am a participant of the Rutgers Debate Team and an active member of Rutgers Public Relations Society. I gained valuable leadership experience while taking on multiple leadership roles in my fraternity. My proudest accomplishment thus far of my time at Rutgers has been my founding of the Companion Animal Science Club. With the help of four other peers, I was able to build this organization from the ground up and place rescued pets into foster homes with volunteering students. This club now holds over 200 members and is quickly becoming one of the most popular clubs on campus. After academic hours, I am a member of the Rutgers Women's Club Lacrosse Team. Past employment at Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper law firm has provided me with a strong skill set in researching, writing, marketing and networking. At the firm, I assisted in the Human Resource and Marketing departments as well as aided attorneys with legal duties. This opportunity provided me with a well rounded internship in which I was able to learn a variety of transferable skills and strengths.After graduation in May 2016, I hope to pursue a career in sales/marketing where I can utilize my networking, communication and writing skills to their fullest potential. Areas of interest to me are pharmaceutical sales, veterinary pharmaceutical sales, marketing, digital marketing, public relations, labor studies and recruiting and staffing.
