Assist with the review and coordination of architectural and engineer contracts, as well as the review and coordination of architectural and engineering drawings and finish materials for market rate developments.

Responsible for all duties that assists the Indianapolis Housing Agency and its non-profit development arm (Insight Development Corp) in creating affordable and market rate housing and commercial/residential mixed use development opportunities in the Indianapolis area. Assisting with obtaining zoning approvals, assisting with applications for financing including applications for Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), obtaining site control including assisting with the U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) disposition applications, analyzing feasibility, processing draw requests, and coordinating due diligence for closings.

*Review and evaluate economic development projects and tax incentive proposals for new and expanding businesses throughout Marion County.*Responsible for overseeing the real estate and property management functions of the division.*Responsible for overseeing the tax abatement and brownfield programs, and updating policies and procedures related to those programs.
