My position as Store Manager for Universal Stores in Sydney and in Rockhampton for the last 5 years has provided me with excellent interpersonal skills with team members and also higher management. Working in a critical customer service role in retail has provided me with skills of interacting in a professional manner with customers and staff members as well as giving me the skills to have constructive conversations with management. In a store management role, the job description required me to delegate, explain and train team members in a professional work environment. Constant interaction with customers as well has provided me with an in depth knowledge of customer service and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.Through Universal Store, I have been involved in a weekend management course through my and was provided with management training covering professional conversations with team members, motivation for effective leadership and creative management skills required to efficiently manage a store and motivate my staff. Alongside this, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business Degree with Swinburne University. The implementation of a Bachelor of Business alongside my retail experience, I hope to gain full time employment in a marketing assistant role within a successful fashion brand. I aim to bring my existing set of skills to be built alongside new ones to be seen as an important asset to any company.
