Mrs. Stephanie Serrano earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Masters of Science in Music Education from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. Under the study of Dr. Chisato Eda-Marling, Mrs. Serrano is an accomplished saxophonist. As a conductor, Mrs. Serrano has studied with Dr. Mary Carlson, Dr. Mark Zeigler, Dr. Russell Mikkelson, and other clinicians.Prior to Depew, Mrs. Serrano taught Kindergarten through twelfth grade concert band, wind ensemble, jazz ensemble, piano keyboarding, general music, and instrumental music lessons. Mrs. Serrano currently serves at the Middle School Band Director at Depew Middle School in the Depew Union Free School District. She is an active member of the Erie County Music Educator Association and the New York State Band Directors Association. Mrs. Serrano lives in West Seneca with her husband Andrew, son Jakob, and daughter Allison. Outside of the music classroom, Mrs. Serrano can often been seen on a local soccer field as the referee.
