I am an Australian Trade and Investment Commissioner to Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Based in Shanghai, I lead an experienced team of education specialists to promote Australia’s education and skills sector and help businesses expand their operations in the region.In addition to my day job, I guest lecture on Free Trade Agreements & the International Political Economy at Bond University, I am an Advisory Board Director for AFL Asia, and an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of East Asia Security. In 2024, the Australian Financial Review named me the ‘Overall Young Leader’ winner at their AFR Women in Leadership Awards. I've held a diverse range of positions at Austrade and bring extensive expertise in international trade and investment. My previous appointments include State Director for the Northern Territory; Global Engagement Manager specialising in agribusiness; and representative for Austrade and Tourism Australia in the Office of the Minister for Trade and Tourism at Australia's Parliament House.Before joining Austrade, I spent several years working in China as Head of Partnerships and Projects at the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. I have previously held legal and financial roles at Queensland Treasury and have corporate governance experience working as a company secretary.
