I have been an Administrative Assistant for more than fifteen years. Twelve of them were working full-time at the New Haven Barracks of the Vermont State Police where I was responsible for greeting people, answering telephones, ordering supplies, data entry, scheduling and setting up for meetings, creating presentations, crafting e-mails and memos, as well as corresponding with any number of law offices, court, and defense attorneys. I worked part-time for the Vergennes Police Department where I updated the filing system and organized the administrative office, among other duties. I enjoy working with others, as well as working on my own. In 2014, I received the Division Commander's Award for my organization and work with my co-workers and community members involving many burglary cases that spanned four counties in Vermont and also crossed the border into New York. It was rewarding to be able to assist in the process. In 2018, I received an award for NIBRS Data Quality (99% Accuracy). I enjoy meeting new people, and I take pride in a job well done.
