Production Assistant and QA while studying. Working on the production floor in the Packing Team full-time over the Summer holidays. Then completing Food Safety and Quality tasks, assisting the NPD & Technical Manager part-time when required, while studying Masters.

Volunteer on the committee of the Canterbury branch for the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology (NZIFST). Collaborating closely with the local committee to organise engaging events & facilitate networking opportunities for food industry professionals and student members.

Volunteer as Student Rep of the Canterbury branch of NZIFST. Working closely with the local committee to increase student member engagement with industry professionals, through presentations and networking events.

Process Assistant in the Cakes & Slices department during Summer holidays.

Summer work experience: -Cheese manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of products direct to customers. - Filling out manufacturing production records and completing hazard analysis checks. -Preparing cafe food and beverages, and waitressed at on-site cafe when required.
