My responsibilities flow over from the Bluebay Beach Resort property to its neighboring sister property Sultan Sands Island Resort.My tasks included coordination of guest transfers, meeting and greeting guests, focusing attention to VIPs, handling groups, handling special requests and complaints, checking on departmental operations in relation with guest satisfaction as well as the analysis of guest satisfaction in person, online and in printed media. All events such as weddings and vow renewals held at the property also fell under the umbrella of guest relations. In addition I had sales and marketing tasks which include management of social media sites, sales trips, representing the company at international travel shows, correspondence with agents and site inspections. As part of these positions at Bluebay Hotels I was involved in the renovation and redecoration of Bluebay’s guestrooms and public areas where I was responsible for the to correct installation of new furnishings in an efficient and timely manner.
