Manage and lead a division of 65 personnel, and I am a direct report to the SES.-Develope and track department business metrics including Overhead Non-Labor Operating budget ($1.5M), the Departmental Operating Budget ($154M), and the hiring and onboarding of all personnel in the up to 1100-person department.-Responsible for the department security adherence, workload and workforce forecasting, Nuclear Functional and Organizational Assessment oversight, Nuclear Technical Publications and Manuals, Nuclear Planning and Estimating for all Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and non-CNO availabilities, Leading Planning for the Nuclear Engineering Department for each availability (including emergent repairs, and periodic shutdowns), and Certification of the Availability Work Package upon completion of the maintenance period.-Liaison Officer and Table Lead for Emergency Response Organization

Oversee production of planning products, troubleshooting, waterfront support, and innovating processes in the areas of Structural, Temporary Fluid Systems, Temporary/Permanent Shielding, Ventilation engineering, Nitrogen and Pure Water, DMD, and Leadership skills.-Screen, interview and hire new engineers and management of divisional workforce to workload needs.-Oversee and manage our annual operating budget in excess of $15.5 million.-Review and concur upon technical resolutions and communicate with senior managers and off-yard regulators paths forward.-Draft, Edit and issue Causal Analysis and Technical Writing, Corrective Actions, Trouble Records, responses to Nuclear Agenda Items, Audit Responses, Course of Action Memos, and divisional assessment.

Responsible for every aspect of the training program required by the Manual for the Control of Refueling for Chief Refueling Engineers, Shift Refueling Engineers, Assistant Shift Refueling Engineers, Production Lead Shop Supervisors, and the Production Department Resource Managers (PDRM) in accordance with the NAVSEA T/Ms including Boat specific Nuclear Reactor Servicing Manuals, Boat specific Reactor Servicing Safety Reports (RSSRs), Equipment Technical Manuals, Boat specific Planning Letters, RIM-63 (Reactor Safety).-Responsible for every aspect of the divisional training program which includes Cleanliness, New Refueling Engineer Training, Administrative Requirements, Mixed Waste and Art. 112 training, monthly divisional training, quarterly LSS/SRE/C139/SRCT Seminars and LSS College.-Actively supported the Surveillance and Assessment Program by providing oversight to waterfront operations and training.

-Planned, coordinated, trained and directed defueling/refueling operations, ensured adherence to technical requirements, and executed work safely. -I was responsible for ensuring all prerequisites are met and the required plant conditions are established in accordance with the applicable procedures and sequence document/control chart. -I maintained overall control of work under my direction and authority over the production department during refueling operations. I trained, led, and directed a team of mechanics, riggers, quality control inspectors, and radiological technicians for various refueling and reactor servicing operations.-Ensured Reactor, Reactor Plant and Fuel Safety throughout all operations I directed/oversaw.-Vast experience preparing, reviewing, and concurring on nuclear technical work instructions, procedures, and reports.
