While at Clarion I have obtained research skills by performing group research of creating ZnO Tetrapods and trying to isolate Quasicrystals. My last two years at Clarion I picked up a Computer Science minor and have worked with Visual Studios making programs like Game of Life and worked on a program to try to efficiently find primes. I have also created a working website using HTML5, CSS, Javascript and PHP.I am curently employed at Rockwood Casualty Insurance Company with engagements encompassing design, development, solution integration and ongoing support of complex Web-TDS and PC-TDS projects in COBOL, REX, Powershell, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and PCL forms. At Rockwood I mostly use Micro Focus Net Express to create programs using Cobol. A main contribution I have made to the Rockwood system is transitioning data operations from an index file-based operation to SQL tables to modernize and facilitate easier and more accurate data maintenance.
