I have been the instructor of record for LIB 103 (Introduction to Library Research and Technology) and LIB 101 (Basic Library and Information Research Skills). I teach information literacy instruction sessions for UNI 101 and English Composition and am the liaison librarian to the Public and International Affairs department. Additionally, I help staff the Help Desk and work on various projects for the Research and Instructional Services division.

Coordinated digital projects and metadata standards for the Center for Biology and Society.

Managed all CBI archives services, including collection development and management, reference, and instruction. Worked on University of Minnesota Libraries-wide committees.

I worked at the Charles Babbage Institute, an archives and research center dedicated to the history of information technology. My primary responsibilities included providing reference and research assistance for users, processing archival collections, and supervising undergraduate student employees. I also began and actively maintained a CBI news and information blog, instituted and monitored a chat reference service, and assisted in organizing and supervising a department-wide processing project.

I created and administered a tool to assess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of Academic Programs librarians, a project that I continued in my permanent position. I also assisted in planning and instructing a summer-long information literacy workshop for incoming college freshmen.

I assisted with research projects for UNC's University Librarian Emeritus.

I arranged and described archival and manuscript collections in the Special Collections Research Center.
