I worked with editors, reporters and journalists at news organizations around the country to share and participate in stories, always ensuring CareSource was put in a positive light. Radio, broadcast television, newspapers and internet/bloggers--if it produced news, I touched it.As a former reporter, I believe in the power of having a good relationship on both sides of the "fence," working with--and not against--reporters.At CareSource, I focused specifically on sharing news about the non-profit managed care entity's work getting vulnerable populations onto a path of self-sufficiency, whether it was managing their behavioral health needs or removing barriers to finding employment... and everything CareSource did to improve members' lives. I also served as the lead organizational storyteller and chief writer for external audiences.

I collaborated with a multifaceted, driven business development and marketing team that led project acquisition and marketing efforts. My role was to produce proposals and qualification packages, develop content (acting as writer, contributor and editor), and design graphics, following the Shipley Method of proposal development. I distilled complex, technical topics into easily-digestible content for broad audiences. I also contributed to company marketing materials (content, design, and production); maintained marketing templates and content databases; and worked with my team to constantly improve the proposal process, supporting tools, and templates.In September of 2017, I launched the company's social media channels with the primary goal of increasing employee engagement and recruiting talent.I was fortunate to be in a company that values high performers, and hires only the best, creating an opportunity to to work with the industry's top talent.
