About Stephanie Wan, Pmp
I don't fit into a box and orgs don't hire me to fit into a box. As a strategic and results-driven global partnerships expert in the future science & tech / STEM sector, I have significant experience with U.S. government agencies to connect people and developing / managing projects that have resulted in new programs and long-lasting business relationships. I now bring that policy and implementation experience to designing strategies, coordinating stakeholder interests, and laying out decision options from adoption of AI Tech to emerging space nations through my lived experience and subject matter expertise. I have hands-on experiences identifying and evaluating new partnership opportunities, working with the government and interagency on collaborating and conducting partner outreach with the nonprofit and private sectors to engage in activities internationally (and especially in emerging markets); and this has resulted in awesome long lasting impacts on global society. The diplomacy initiatives are through non-traditional methods - from government collaborations to transfer my excitement of aerospace, space exploration, and satellites into connecting the public and private sectors with the value of including space technology and applications in their portfolios / everyday lives. This has extended to supporting the space food movement via the Methuselah Foundation - NASA x CSA Deep Space Food Challenge and co-founder of Heritage Space Food -- because everyone needs to eat! When I’m not breathing/working/dreaming about technology and innovation, you can find me uplifting under-represented communities (proud co-founder of Heritage Space Food and the Australian Space Diversity Alliance) / UN Space4Women community, mentoring the next generation of STEM/space explorers or AAPI community (ie. Zed Factor Fellowship), cooking up a feast, practicing/learning new languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German) or traveling around the world conversing with strangers and enjoying the local cuisine. I may be that 'auntie/granny' that offers fun facts about the benefits of space and have a pocketful of NASA pins to hand out instead of Werthers candies.
Listed skills include International Relations, Proposal Writing, Analysis, Aerospace, and 23 others.
