As a project manager on the content and creative team of Woodruff Sawyer Marketing, I partnered with marketing, executive, sales, and account management teams to develop a robust content strategy. I originated and built out the content producer role, which involved creating and maintaining the content editorial calendar and production plan using platforms such as Asana and Airtable. As the execution arm of the content team, I built a streamlined workflow, decreasing production time while increasing volume and improving team morale. Then I scaled up the operation when our team grew from 6 to 20+ members.I managed the production of blog posts, e-guides, emails, and sales and event collateral, collaborating with internal and external teams of writers and designers. I helped increase website traffic year over year by leveraging SEO best practices to optimize blog content. I also reduced the cost of e-guide production 50% by revolutionizing front-end workflows, setting clear expectations with stakeholders, and driving robust Quality Assurance protocols.

After being promoted to this lead role, I managed the production of ~50 online courses, which involved setting production schedules; leading kickoff meetings; managing stakeholders; and revising, copy-editing, and organizing instructor material. I assisted thought leaders in creating course content and content for multimedia such as slideshows and video demonstrations.I served as a key point of contact, liaising with instructors, media designers and producers, university department directors, instructors and subject matter experts, and other personnel. I was the go-to problem solver for complex issues, swiftly and diplomatically resolving internal crises to ensure courses were completed on time and within scope.

In this technical and editorial role, I ensured course accessibility for deaf and ESL students by transcribing course media such as demos, lectures, interviews, etc. and applying them to the videos as closed captions.
