About Stephanie Faulkner-Smith

I am a qualified Mental Health First Aid England Instructor and an experienced primary school teacher. I am passionate about positive mental health and equipping people in schools and businesses with the confidence and skills to spot the signs of mental ill health . I am convinced that everyone can learn the necessary skills to support, listen and walk alongside somebody who is facing a struggle, or even a crisis. In doing so they can help to speed up a person's recovery and prevent a mental health issue from getting worse. Mental Health First Aid teaches people how to identify and help a person who may be developing a mental health issue. In the same way as we learn physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health. The courses are delivered either Face to Face or online over the course of 2 days (Mental Health FIrst Aid) , 1 day (Champion) or a half day (Awareness)I can provide accredited Mental Health First Aid England training to individuals, groups and organisations in all areas of business and education.
