• I started at New Profit as a Senior Associate, focused on providing data analysis and management support.
• Revamp core measurement tools, including semi-annual reporting templates used by portfolio grantees and the growth diagnostic used to evaluate grantees, to improve qualitative data capture and user friendliness
• Implement technology solutions, such as Salesforce and Google Data Studio, to streamline data management processes and enhance data visualization capabilities of the Portfolio Investing Team
• Conduct quarterly quantitative and qualitative analyses on data about grantees to assess the health of New Profit’s portfolio of direct service, systems change, and advocacy/policy organizations and to inform.

• I was the MEL Specialist for Global Forest Watch, an open data, geospatial web application that monitors global forests in near real-time. I lead the implementation and development of the platform's MEL strategy.
• Developed and piloted the first Learning Strategy for the open data platform Global Forest Watch, coordinating across teams to implement activities such as surveys, in-depth interviews, and desk research
• Write quarterly reports, support donor relations, and fundraising with USAID, NORAD, Mulago Foundation, the Walmart Foundation, NEA Singapore, FCDO, and more as the MEL expert on the team
• Managed a $31k evaluation that investigated GFW’s influence on international forest policy action & discourse

• Build a spatial database in ArcGIS, manipulating both raster and vector datasets, to support the quantitative portion of the impact evaluations of Global Forest Watch and Global Forest Watch Pro
• Improve the user functionality of the GFW Use Cases platform hosted in Microsoft PowerApps by editing its code and conduct trainings for staff on how to navigate the updated app
• Create data visualization dashboards about usage of GFW by linking Power BI with SharePoint lists and Excel spreadsheets

• Girls First Fund is a donor collaborative supported by leading philanthropic organizations and individual philanthropists who have come together to champion community-led efforts so that all girls can live free from.
• Analyzed qualitative data from over 140 grantee reports from Africa, South Asia, and the Caribbean by coding for themes related to gender equity and identifying trends within and across regions

• Americares is a global health-focused humanitarian organization that responds to people affected by poverty or disaster through its Emergency Programs, Access to Medicine efforts, Clinical Services, and Community.
• Analyzed quantitative and qualitative datasets via Excel and SPSS to gauge the effects of global health programs in Tanzania, Liberia, Guatemala, and the US
• Contributed to the writing and editing of program reports for internal and external distribution
• Developed an emergency preparedness guide for partner clinics in Asia by conducting online research, interviewing staff from 3 Americares country offices, and writing a literature review
• Presented a section of the guide about a strategy to manage tropical disease proliferation pre- and post-disaster to the CEO and other organization leadership

• Created two surveys for the 150 participants of a water filtration project as part of monitoring and evaluation

• Designed and implemented the 6 week Youth Summer Learning Program curriculum with emphases on ESL and resettlement in Chicago for approximately 50 refugee youth aged 5 to 19
• Conducted 14 visits to refugee households to proctor 15 youth ESL tests and build positive client relationships
• Mentored a group of 9 2nd and 3rd grade girls for 3 weeks of the program
• Compiled and published an anthology of stories written by and photographs taken by refugee youth

• Evaluated and gathered data from multiple fellowship applications to assist the program director in selection of 14 fellows from a pool of 300 applicants
