I am a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Certified Divorce Financial AnalystTM (CDFATM), and was one of the first practicing divorce financial planners in the Los Angeles area. As a mediator with Peace Talks, I bring my expertise to help mediation clients make good choices for settlement. I help determine the short-term and long-term financial impact of proposed divorce settlements, offer valuable insight into the pros and cons of different settlement proposals and help avoid common financial pitfalls of divorce.In 1991 I earned my Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) credential from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado and completed the training by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst in 1999. I have also taken Collaborative DivorceTM training and completed 30 hours of mediation training in 2005 and 40 hours of divorce mediation training in 2007. With over 25 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, I provide a broad range of financial and advisory services for my clients.Having personally gone through a divorce involving the future of my child, I’m prepared to assist my clients, both financially and emotionally. I help determine the short-term and long-term financial impact of proposed divorce settlements, offer valuable insight into the pros and cons of different settlement proposals, and help avoid common financial pitfalls of divorce.
