Artist for over 30 years, specializing in acrylic, oil, airbrush, murals, charcoal, colored pencil, chalk, and pyrography.I teach art and sewing classes in my home studio to adults and children. I do face painting for public and private events.Three-time winner of the Gold Key Award for excellent customer service for major telecommunications company where I worked from 1987-1995.Winner of 2 Journalist of the Year Awards from The Gazette, 2008. Maintained an art studio at Cottonwood Center for the Arts in Colorado Springs, CO, from 2009 to 2010, served on their Marketing Committee, and wrote Cottonwood articles for Fresh Ink, a citizen journalism paper with the Gazette, on local artists and upcoming events.Participating artist in Imagination Celebration's "What IF ... ?" and Summer Butterfly Festivals as a chalk artist, winning first and second places, and have done sidewalk chalk art for several local businesses in Colorado Springs.

Over 30 years of artistic experience allows me to offer a smorgasbord of services: art & sewing classes, face painting for private or public events, fine art commissions, pyrography, and flower arranging/design. In 2009, I founded Bearing My Soul (c) Custom Teddy Bears, where I create one-of-a-kind bears out of antique fur coats, vintage baby blankets, your kids' old baby clothes ... you name it, I do it!

I started with Hobby Lobby in 2010 as a clerk in the fabric department, then was promoted to department manager before being transferred to the floral department. I created custom floral arrangements and wedding displays, was responsible for floral and bridal department inventory, placed our weekly inventory order, unloaded freight, put up stock, assisted customers, and ran a cash register. After 2 1/2 years, I left in 2012 to be a full time caregiver for my mother. After her passing, I returned to Hobby Lobby in 2019, and am currently working in the fabric and needle art departments.
