I started working when I was very young. My parents always took me to work with them as they were always in managerial positions. With them I worked in a wood working shop, did housekeeping in a hotel, and waited tables in the restaurant they owned. I also worked at a pizza shop and a DQ in high school. After high school, I took a desk job at Utilimaster, a utility truck manufacturer, where I was until recently. I am currently on a career break focusing on school trying to figure out my next steps. I am also a colorguard instructor at our local high school. If you've ever seen a marching band, colorguard is the flags and dancers on the field. I teach those kids. I love what I do with that. It really satisfies my creative side and I love spending time and creating a safe space for my kids. I also was in marching band in high school and played clarinet, which I still love to do. I am also developing a love for photography, shooting video, and editing. I really like creating promotional videos and posters. Beign multi-faceted has its struggles, people tend to not take you seriously. But, I'm not going to trade my passions for traditionalism.
