I have been the Director of Casa Center for Positive Social Change since 1988. The original mission of our agency was to provide crisis and counseling services however we have transitioned over the years to our current mission which is to teach social and emotional intelligence education simultaneous to programs which prevent bullying, abuse and violence to children, teens and adults. We teach emotional itelligence and healthy relationship skills to achieve positive, loving people while reducing emotional, verbal, sexual and physical abuse and violence to include bullying and cyber abuse. To date Casa has presented its programs to over 950,000 children and adults in area schools, and other children, teen and adult organizations. I am also an AZ Action Leader for Liz Claiborne's "Love is Not Abuse" Prevention Program which teaches teen dating violence prevention.
