I am responsible for editing and producing a new podcast that will be released in the spring of 2024.

In this role, I worked on a variety of projects to help grow the impact of this small business. I revamped the website on Squarespace to make it more modern, accessible, and visually appealing. I also created and managed the company's LinkedIn page, to which I posted original content to grow and engage our audience. In addition to that, I did extensive research and logistical planning to help launch our podcast. Finally, I performed EA tasks such as taking meeting minutes and scheduling.

At NRG, I was a lead recruiter for several of our clients, who were progressive non-profit organizations focused on social impact, environmentalism, education, and politics. I used our ATS to review resumes and one-way interview videos, and later conducted phone interviews with candidates. I then made thoughtful hiring recommendations to my team and our clients. I also did strategic sourcing to build and diversify our pipelines. This job required careful review of profiles and resumes, high attention to detail and organization, and strong interpersonal skills to carry out interviews. It also gave me the chance to connect with hundreds of passionate candidates who care about making a positive impact in their work. I appreciated the level of responsibility and independence I had in this role. Some of the clients I have worked on searches for include, but are not limited to: Run for Something, Atmos, Peer Health Exchange, Families & Workers Fund, Child Care for Every Family Network, and Vote Run Lead.

Madrid, Spain

For three years I worked as an English teacher in Madrid. My first two years I worked in a bilingual secondary school as an English and Biology teacher. During my third year, I was in a bilingual elementary school as an English teacher. Every day I lead classes, incorporating cultural activities, games, group discussions, close readings, debates, lectures, and more. Teaching proved to be an exciting role with great challenges and even greater payoff. It also made me more organized and prepared than any role I've worked before. Despite all the planning that goes into teaching, I learned you have to remain adaptable and ready for things to not go the way you expected.

Newton, Ma

I worked as an analyst at Resolute Advisory Services (an independent consulting firm which advises its clients on post-acquisition integration) on a project for a retail healthcare company with over 300 clinics nationwide. I was responsible for collecting, organizing, and inventorying (using Excel, Google Sheets, and Dropbox) the core data the consultant used in the project, as well as completing analyses at the consultant’s direction. I corresponded via telephone and email with the clinics to explain in a professional, effective manner which data I needed and answer any questions they might have about the project to gain their cooperation. The high volume of data required significant organization skills and attention to detail.

Somerville, Massachusetts

I worked as a hostess and food runner at an upscale vegan restaurant in the Boston area. I greeted customers in a professional and friendly manner, answered the phones, kept track of my tables and their needs, worked as a team player, and focused on multiple tasks simultaneously to make sure things ran smoothly.

Bronx, Ny

I gathered, wrote, voiced, and produced local and national stories for daily newscasts through field reporting and phone interviews. In August of 2018, I began working on radio documentaries, which turned out to be my favorite form of journalism. This process required extensive research, multiple interviews, narrative script writing, and audio editing. I produced two audio documentaries during my time at WFUV.

Fordham University

I sold meal plans to college students using a peer to peer approach. I explained the plans to my peers in an engaging and motivating manner. I also attended training sessions on effective marketing and selling techniques. I always had to be prepared to answer questions about specifics of meal plan. I later transitioned to an administrative role, which including organizing and entering invoices.

Brooklyn, Ny

While at StoryCorps, I created several 2-3 minute long edited segments from 40 minute long StoryCorps interviews on the topic of HIV/AIDS for use by our partner organizations. I also worked on a project surrounding childhood bereavement, which meant doing extensive research on the topic, and attentively listening to StoryCorps interviews to make suggestions for potential stories to be used.

I performed administrative support for the firm, answered phones and spoke with clients, filed statements, handled correspondence mail, created estate planning documents to mail to clients, and worked on several projects at once.
