Dynamic sonographer role scanning both high risk obstetrics and pediatrics.I preform MFM Obstetrical ultrasounds including: anatomical profiles, biophysical’s, high risk early anatomies, transvaginal cervical lengths, placenta accreta screening, neurosonography, and nuchal translucency studies. I am also fully trained in fetal procedures including fetal versions, chorionic villus sampling, and amniocentesis. In the obstetrical department, I have taken a leadership opportunity involving teaching MFM fellows the scanning essentials they need to generate accurate diagnostic images and fetal measurements in practice. I am also responsible for training new-hires which entails hands-on teaching and mentoring for their probationary period.I preform pediatric ultrasounds including: neurosonography, abdomen, bowel, vascular studies, and neonatal hips. Through this role, I am comfortable scanning complex cases portably in the NICU, PICU, and ER and communicating my findings to the pediatric radiologist.

High volume ultrasound department dealing with outpatients, in-patients, and complex ICU and ER requests.Daily exposure to a variety of ultrasound exams including: OB anatomy, Nuchal Translucency, breast, small parts, female pelvic, biophysicals, abdominal, vascular, MSK shoulder’s and Achilles tendon.Valuable experience with biopsy procedures including: prostate, breast, liver, thyroid as well as drainage procedures including thoracentesis and paracentesis.

-Fast paced clinic role scanning general adult outpatient studies including: gynaecology, routine anatomy, nuchal translucency, thyroid, lump assessments, and abdominal imaging-unique breast assessment program with collaboration between mammography technologists and ultrasound to better locate and confirm breast lesions for quick results
