Served on the newly formed Southeast Washington service area executive team, where I provided executive operational oversight for multiple ancillary service departments at Kadlec, located in Richland, Washington, and Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. My goal was to help businesses grow revenue and flourish. Many of the businesses I assisted continue to grow and thrive today.
Youth Board Facilitator & Advisor
I worked with the founder of Make the DASH Count, Hope Moore, and advisor Ali Boyle to establish the Columbia Valley Youth Board in September 2006. The board was in place to educate high school aged youth about philanthropy and giving back through a youth board grantmaking program that last 9 months each year. I worked to educate the youth about how to behave and interact while being on a Board of Directors including use of Roberts Rules. Also provided education about grantmaking, reading financial records, understanding key elements and terms found in grant applications, the grant application process, public speaking, etc. After two years as Facilitator I stepped aside and became an advisor for the 2008 - 2009 year. I assisted with the development and management of the Dash Race for the Kids for 3 years. The event was held to spread the word about the foundation and to offer a venue for families to come together to celebrate their own DASH!

Provided mentoring for other facilitators and advisors related to curriculum, facilitation, and youth board recruiting.
