Served on the newly formed Southeast Washington service area executive team, where I provided executive operational oversight for multiple ancillary service departments at Kadlec, located in Richland, Washington, and Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, Washington. In this expanded role I worked directly with ancillary services leaders at both organizations to ensure high quality service was provided in all areas of responsibility including hospital laboratory, diagnostic imaging, nutrition services, and others. Key indicators of my effectiveness were successful financial management, positive patient experience and caregiver engagement as well as the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

As an active member of Kadlec's executive team, now combined with the executive leaders of St. Mary Medical Center and known as the Southeast Washington service area executive team, I provided direction and guidance to ancillary services operational leaders at Kadlec. Served as an executive sponsor for organizational patient experience, culture, and leadership development efforts. Areas of oversight included hospital laboratory, therapy services, diagnostic imaging, nutrition services, dieticians and nutritional support, language services, volunteers, and others. Participated actively in COVID response as a member of incident command team, as leader of visitor management programming, and committee chairperson responsible for evaluating and implementing COVID lab testing for patients and staff.

Continued to serve as a member of the Kadlec executive team. Was responsible for organizational patient experience programming and oversight. As an executive leader provided operational oversight of multiple ancillary departments including nutrition services, dieticians, language services, bloodless medicine, gift shop, and volunteers.

Joined the Kadlec’s Executive Team and was responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service within all departments. I served as a strategic partner working with leaders throughout the organization guiding them in the use of patient feedback and proven industry-practices to drive improvement. This included patient satisfaction survey administration, leadership of a board-level experience committee and the oversight and incorporation of the philosophies of Planetree.

Coordinated marketing activities and business development for Kadlec Clinic which included all primary care and specialty clinics within Kadlec. This included 26 primary and specialty care clinics, including one urgent care, representing over 115 employed healthcare providers. I worked in concert with the Kadlec marketing team.

I worked with businesses to create effective and efficient marketing program solutions to help their businesses grow. I started from the ground up, understanding their organizations strengths and opportunities and from there develop marketing objectives. Once objectives were established we worked to create collateral materials and advertising to support their service or product further their image in the community as well as drive business. My goal was to help businesses grow revenue and flourish. Many of the businesses I assisted continue to grow and thrive today.

I worked with the founder of Make the DASH Count, Hope Moore, and advisor Ali Boyle to establish the Columbia Valley Youth Board in September 2006. The board was in place to educate high school aged youth about philanthropy and giving back through a youth board grantmaking program that last 9 months each year. I worked to educate the youth about how to behave and interact while being on a Board of Directors including use of Roberts Rules. Also provided education about grantmaking, reading financial records, understanding key elements and terms found in grant applications, the grant application process, public speaking, etc. After two years as Facilitator I stepped aside and became an advisor for the 2008 - 2009 year. I assisted with the development and management of the Dash Race for the Kids for 3 years. The event was held to spread the word about the foundation and to offer a venue for families to come together to celebrate their own DASH!

Provided strategic brand development and operational oversight for the foundation. Provided mentoring for other facilitators and advisors related to curriculum, facilitation, and youth board recruiting. Developed marketing materials, website text and visuals, and positioning information. Worked to bridge the philosophies between the foundation and Heaven’s Cave Cellars, a for profit organization developed as a sustainable funding source for the foundation. Monitored budgets, other team members, and the public image of the foundation.

Provided marketing and operational support for Heaven's Cave. Assisted with the development of marketing materials, advertising, and a new website to showcase wine varieties. Assisted in the planning and opening of a tasting room in Prosser Washington including back office functions such as POS system selection and integration, credit card processing, décor and visuals.

Coordinated marketing, public relations, and advertising programs for all entities within the hospital organization. Facilitated organizational events, including physician recruitment visits, health fairs, community activities and in-house events. Participated in the organization as a member of the senior administrative team. Increased utilization of the hospital's services. Managed organization-wide patient satisfaction program including oversight of the survey process as well as a two-fold customer service program focused on service excellence and service recovery.
