I took the lead on designing the city commuter user experience, across 50+ cities worldwide.Focus areas included localisation, transport information design, UX delivery (in weekly sprints), QA planning and feature marketing.I was key to delivering the new production design workflow that allowed the team to scale new city launches from 1 new city per month, to over 15 new cities simultaneously.

"Mobile App for Events" - Eventbase is the top platform for event organisers to create customised mobile apps for attendees.I defined product UX and was the key designer for client delivery projects in Europe. Notable projects included Cannes Lions, Cisco Live, and Consumer Electronics Forum (CES).I took ownership of the Eventbase brand guidelines (undertaking a complete rebranding and renaming of the company), and designed all materials used by Marketing. With my long history of experience and involvement of several different areas of Eventbase (including product UX, client delivery, marketing, and sales), I was uniquely positioned to help ensure that all deliverables were consistent, accurate and on-brand.

I led our team of UX and UI designers in Vancouver and was responsible for evolving the UX design of the Eventbase mobile app product.Key projects include London 2012 Olympic Games, SXSW, HP Discover, and San Diego Comic-Con.I collaborated with key client stakeholders and the product teams and to ideate, usability test, design and develop new features, and refresh the product's UX.As Eventbase's product grew into a scalable platform offering, I defined production design workflows and standards for our international team of designers.

As Eventbase's first designer and third employee, I was responsible for establishing the UX/UI design and production design workflows that would be used as the foundation of their mobile app product and client delivery projects for several years.Notable projects included the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, SXSW, Coachella and Lollapalooza.I worked with each client to apply their brand and feature requirements to the mobile app product, and collaborated with the product team in developing new features.

Insight Photography, based in Whistler, BC, specializes in resort lifestyles photography and high-end real estate marketing photography.I was responsible for complete post-processing of RAW digital photos including colour correction, exposure, retouching, keywording, and archiving for stock image database. I assisted with administration, image sales, and marketing for the Executive Director and key photographers.

The Student Marketing Association (SMA) is SFU's creative and innovative marketing-based student club. Students from all faculties join together in this organization to gain skills in marketing, event coordination, and leadership, planning numerous social and professional events throughout the year.As Director of E-Communications I completed a total overhaul of SMA's website and online communications, created and managed multiple event microsites and online registration systems.
