Responsible for a team of 5 Solution Analysts deploying global Hotel, Admissions and Commercial stock & POS systems worldwide. My team successfully delivered the support of internal project streams including:• The implementation of a strategic cloud-based Admissions system including the migration of pre-sold tickets from the legacy Admissions systems.• The upgrade and standardization of Hotel systems.• Deployment of a new POS and Stock Control system at a number of world-wide sites including LEGOLAND Japan, Thorpe Park Resort.• The Deployment of an 80-client tablet customer ordering solution at Alton Towers Rollercoaster Restaurant.• SharePoint deployment & administration – migration from 3 local installations to an enterprise solution.• Management of supplier relations, and support escalations from the Application support team.• Migration of the POS estate to new O/S (XP to Win 7).• Providing Support to a recently implemented QA function with the supply of test cases, technical designs and specifications.My role supporting the Merlin IT Senior Leadership Team included:• Change Management – as part of the newly introduced ITIL process I was a member of the change board meeting weekly to approve changes.• Knowledge Base sign off of new articles for upload to our incident management system.• P1 escalation management.• Responsible for the Cross charging of project resource to the appropriate budget.• Contractor selection and interviews.• New site assessments – Risk and review of applications & infrastructure at new site purchases (Turkazoo).

As part of the Central IT support team my role progressed from being a Retail & F+B Applications Analyst providing 2nd line support to one as an application SME providing project implementation assistance.• Delivered system enhancements to existing systems such as implementing, and recording Eat in/Takeaway choices for additional revenue generation.• Implementation of an F&B Recipe system to control COS and wastage.• The switch-over of POS systems at the Berlin Cluster (4 separate attractions).• Implementation at new site openings, helping to provide project estimates involving Till Quotes, License estimates.• Support and training of Stocktake processes.• Amsterdam cluster migration of their legacy stock system and the implementation of new POS system.• Till hardware refresh replacing existing hardware with new Wincor Nixdorf POS.• Part of the team to centralise stock & POS reporting over 5 sites.• Support of new implementations – expansion of Stock systems and use of new openings at worldwide sites (Madame Tussauds New York, Heide Park theme park Germany).
