New year…new destination…new life…and new job role! Just been taken on as an Automotive Technician for the Norris Motor Group Australia catering for Hyundai, Kia, LDV, Isuzu UTE, MG, Renault, Suzuki, Volkswagen, RAM and Mitsubishi. The brand boasts 9 new and used car dealerships Brisbane wide.Previous to this I was working for The AA, the UK's largest roadside rescue services as a Road Side Patrol Technician.I was nominated and had made it through to the Patrol Of The Year finals 2023. For even being nominated I felt a huge sense of achievement, I was within the top six in the country and as such this is something I am immensely proud of and extremely grateful of the opportunity. I love the challenges from job to job and the fact no two days are ever the same, this brings a sense of excitement from the moment I start and finish each day. Learning as new challenges come to light and overcoming them knowing I did the best I could each and every time.Prior to this I was a Service Advisor for an official Porsche Centre being franchised within the Sytner Group. The role I would say had a constant heavy work load, relying on a collective team effort to get vehicles turned around as quickly as possible. The product was high end and as such the expectations were high also. The role depended on high levels of communication from all areas start to finish within the customer journey. Product knowledge was also key in providing the best possible service and experience in all customer interactions and experiences. Various other roles in my working life have been within the Leisure and Tourism sector, several years working for TUI. I started as a Holiday Advisor and had progressed to Team Leader working in various countries, Spain, Cyprus, Cape Verde, Kos to name but a few. The experience I gained working in so many different environments alongside so many different personalities will forever be treasured and appreciated. The role was to ensure excellent delivery of the brand and ultimately use this to provide the best possible holiday experiences and or memories for the guests during their stay and of cause provide assistance for when things didn’t go quite to plan.
