This was an arrangement with Mercedes Benz Financial Services to outsource the management of their rental business, circa 8,500 Funded units.Duties Involve (In addition to Leasedrive duties)- Executing Month End routines- Fixed Assets- Provision of full Balance sheet and P&L- Management Accounts pack with commentary- Provision of various reports (Stock/ Portfolio/Disposals etc)- Provision of data for Vat return- Accruals- Journals- Ad hoc queries- Monthly finance review meetings with MBFS counterpartsInvestec Bank (Mar Year End)As part of the arrangement with Investec we are required to provide a separate Balance Sheet, P&L, Management Pack and additional MI reports until the old Masterlease fleet has extinguished. I had responsibility for providing a substantial amount of this work in addition to my duties for Leasedrive until I took on the financial reporting for Daimler Fleet Management. I still review the final numbers that are submitted. In addition I am a key contact for Investec Auditor’s (E&Y).
