-As a result of September 11 volunteered for, and was designated as, Inter-agency Liaison for NJ State Police Marine Bureau to the NY/NJ Harbor-Designed and prepared the Waterside Evacuation plan for Port Newark / Elizabeth-Cultivated cooperative partnerships with other agencies to effectively accomplish large goals, and save resources; improved relationships with business, communities, and civic leaders-Greatly expanded the NJ State Police roll in the NY/NJ Marine Community, developing successful, mutually beneficial relationships-Planned, coordinated, and executed complex, large-scale public events; fireworks, boat races, parades; collaborated with US Navy to plan, coordinate and lead station participation in Fleet Week events for 4 consecutive years-Represented stations in evacuation drills and follow-up analysis-Managed, under one command, the Marine Policing needs of three geographically separated stations with different policing requirements. Following September 11 supervised the security strategies between, programs, and systems to increase public safety and operational effectiveness, creating significant cost savings, and “win-win” situationsPrior Assignments included Squad Supervisor for Tactical Patrol Unit and Hope Station, and Assistant Squad Supervisor for Newark Station, NJ Turnpike. 1981-2000 Received 30+ Letters of Commendation and Appreciation for support, superior performance, and service.
