Worked on a team responsible for the coding and implementation for the CASH System for a major insurance company. This system consisted of 101 on-line transactions that handled creation, deletion, update, and display of rows from a DB2 database that contained 99 Entity Types. Several on-line transactions interfaced with ADABASE files and wrote data to Message Queue Manager, which could be browsed. Also, CASH utilized IEF in the design of 46 batch Procedures, which contained numerous external action blocks writing out flat files and reading ADABASE files.Responsible for the design, coding, and implementation for the Account Concepts project which was major enhancement to the CASH System to allow for multiple policies for an account. This project updated several of the on-line and batch Procedures as well as adding ten new on-line transactions, two of which utilized Temp Storage Queue, and two new batch Procedures. Also provided instruction and guidance to other team members on the BSD, Construction, and Implementation.Responsible for the design, coding, and implementation for the AFT project which was enhancement to the CASH System to allow for payments to be made electronically.
