A Legal Executive with more than 20 years of Australian and international in-house legal experience with major resources and energy businesses, after 10 years in private practice in Australia and the UK. I have had extensive experience as a General Counsel and Company Secretary in the energy and resources business and advised on the full range of legal issues in corporate law and project development and delivery in LNG, gas, power and renewables. My particular experience covers: acquisitions and divestments in Australia, Europe and the USA; business development, joint ventures and project development of renewables, gas and LNG projects; the trading and marketing of LNG, gas and power (from gas and renewables) globally and with particular experience working with customers in UK, Europe, and in Japan, Korea and China. I have special expertise in LNG and gas to power projects and trading of LNG, gas, power and carbon products. I have recent experience in power and renewables projects, and a passionate interest in the energy transition. I have acted as company secretary of large enterprises in Australia and the UK, and also provided energy regulatory, financial services compliance and corporate governance advice to the Board and executive management. As a manager I have always worked to build high performing legal teams who are responsive to the business needs and provide commercially focused legal advice. Currently working as GM Legal to the Tattarang group, and its energy subsidiary: Squadron Energy.
