Stephen joined Paladin Risk Solutions in 2021 after more than 30 years of police service in England.In England, Stephen served as a detective with the London Metropolitan Police and, following his retirement as an officer, as a privately contracted investigator with Thames Valley Police and Leicestershire Police. He spent the last 10 years of this service as a detective within the Specialist Crime Directorate of New Scotland Yard during which time he was an instrumental member of the some of the Met Police’s most high-profile investigations. Including International sports match fixing and the phone hacking activities of the News of the World newspaper.Stephen has achieved qualifications in the fields of Financial Investigation, Intelligence, Confiscation and Restraint. He is a qualified Covert Human Intelligence Source (CHIS) handler and has received advanced level training in interview techniques, forensic exhibit retrieval, covert deployment, surveillance and pursuit driving.Stephen has now brought his vast experience to bear in the corporate world of injury claim, fraud and regulatory compliance investigations.
