Postmaster in the US Postal Service for 42 1/2 years. Certified Teacher/ Instructor at several Postal Academies throughout the US. Operational Specialists in City Delivery, Rural Delivery, Window Service, and Mail Processing. Numerous special assignments to Headquarters, Regional Offices, and Districts. Assignments as Acting Postmaster in large Postal Operations in numerous states. Lead numerous Automation Team Reviews. Specialist and Team Leader in numerous City Route Exams and Rural Route Exams. Wrote software programs for many delivery analysis. Previously Finance Director for 6 years at the MSC level preparing budgets for 135 Post Offices and doing financial Exams. Now retired and assisting seniors with their Federal benefits, Retirement Counseling for both those retired or getting ready to retire including Social Security Benefits and Medicare. Assisting all crafts and management groups plus other Federal Employees. Assist many widows and their families of retired Federal employees with explanations and things they need to do when someone dies and before they pass away. All assistance is done for free. Have done groups as large as 120 people in meeting before. Was selected, trained, and certified as a Retirement Counselor for the Postal Service back in 1975. I thoroughly enjoy helping families with all their questions. I do it over the phone, on the computer, and in person in individuals homes with their families participating which is critical most of the time as they may become caretakers or the power of Attorney later or sooner if not already.
