CurrentResponsible for drilling, Work-overs & completions operations representing Origin. Directing and supervising drilling service contractors, mentoring well site representative new hires. Maintaining communicates with Engineer, Superintendent and regularly reporting operational progress and status. Ensured procurement of services, materials and supplies in accordance with approved operation programs. Provided the drilling service contractors with detailed operational procedures and requirements, at every step of the operation. Ensured that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Company's safety policies and procedures. Prepared and delivered daily drilling operation report via Well-View including various drilling parameters, material supply and consumption, costs, and other associated information. Ensured that Contractor maintained the rig and their equipment at maximum efficiency minimising down-time and the company's materials and equipment are properly utilised, handled and stored. Continuously looked for ways to reduce costs and improve performance without compromising Safety. Mentoring rig crews and training new hires as needed.
