Work closely with the functional leads and sponsors to elicit, analyze, define and specify requirements for assigned value streams. Mentor the business as needed to create requirements, artifacts, test plans, and scripts to validate that requirements are met. Be the liaison between the business users, technology teams, and IT Service Provider support teams. Work closely with the IT team to determine feasibility of systems solutions and ensure business area management understands IT resources and capabilities. Make recommendations on process improvements to enhance IT service delivery. Design, execute, and document test scripts and test scenarios. Act as Project Manager on IT enhancement projects as required by the Project Management Office. When in the PM role, responsibilities include working closely with the Project Sponsor to plan, document and manage the scope, schedule and budget of the project. Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign offs, verifying with user representatives / stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs. Develops conceptual design documents, including project definition, alternative solutions, scope of work, functional specifications and logical models for new systems. Review operational procedures and methods; map current business processes; define and analyze business activities; identify best practices; and recommend improvements Work with third-party IT Service Provider's developers and systems architects to define and develop and maintain business systems. Understand systems/application architectures, database concepts, database design concepts and pseudo code Work with IT Services Providers to leverage service to maximum contribution. Work performed with minimal supervision and significant latitude to approach and methods. Contribute to the development of new technical concepts and applications. Lead a section of a larger functional area or program.
