Project manager and manager for the Melbourne office. Incredible position in which to polish my PM skills, and also take on junior drafters and teach/supervise their growth in the industry. Worked on a variety of projects, from the five star William Ingliss Hotel fitout with FDC, to the Bosco Apartments delivery in record time with Icon construction.

An incredible year and half with some of most creative and clever people I've ever worked with. Designing and setting-out some of the most highly sought-after apartments and homes in Melbourne.This position really fine-tuned my Microvellum skills due to the high level of detail in every project. Every project would also appear as a prized part of my portfolio to date, even having a kitchen appear on the Caeserstone website.

During my time at Fundación Catalina Muñoz I adopted and took on a number of various roles including, but not limited to;▪ Project coordinator and architect for the foundation's 'Mejoramiento' project which has built over 8,000 shelters for IDPs. Responsibilities included selecting beneficiary families, design of prefabricated housing system structures, coordinating and insuring the arrival and safe keeping of materials for construction of the house, liaising with both the national police force and the armed forces to provide security for goods and personel, coordinating and project leading the construction of the house, and all the legal and structural paperwork for final hand over.▪ Project Architect for Fundación Catalina Muñoz. In collaboration with General Motors, Chevrolet Colombia and Don Bosco Fabricators I designed and pushed through to prototyping a modular housing system produced from the waste products of Colombia’s growing car market.▪ WASH Project architect and assistant awards distributor for the joint Fundación Catalina Muñoz and UN Operación Panamericana de la Salud project 'Viviendas Saludables.' My role included communicating with UN and FCM field staff, making visits to participating families houses, designing and fitting rainwater collection and filtration systems, and the logistics of delivering vast quantities of 500L water tanks and equipment into a slum environment.▪ Social Development Consultant with the Colombian National Armed Forces Social Reintegration Unit. Flew into San Juan de las Hermosas as part of a mission with the Colombian forces as a consultant on the direction of the growth of the small rural village after occupation by FARC rebels.

While participating in the EU funded role in Kamideas, my roles included;▪ Competition Architect. Took on an in-depth competition as part of a small team of three and produced a commendable, collaborative and creative entry for the world famous Pruitt Igoe site. My roles in this project were as head urban researcher and analyst, community coordinator, lead designer and graphics communication.▪ Urban Researcher. In-depth academic research and practical analysis of cities, communities and place-making in the Spanish city of Seville. The resulting publication 'Forgotten Spaces Sevilla' proved to be an effective study and provided a rooted and creative intervention using the existing infrastructure of the city.

Architect and construction team leader for the disaster response in Peru to the 8.0 magnitude earthquake that devastated the area. Leading teams of volunteers on building homes for the less fortunate, and designing-constructing community centers, including earthquake-resistant earth-bag structures.
