Principal Investigator: Dr Mahima KaushikWorked on the comparative analysis of green and hydrothermal synthesis Cobalt-Nickle bimetallic oxide for antimicrobial and photocatalytic activity exploiting their magnetic nature. Developed laboratory skills in the synthesis of nanoparticles and their characterization techniques using UV-spectrophotometer, FTIR, Fluorescence spectroscopy, and other techniques. Also worked on a review on deciphering the emergence and potential strategies to tackle Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria and Resistance Genes in agriculture microbiology.

Working under the supervision of Dr. Anjali Singh in the Materials and Strategic Studies group working on modeling novel heterostructures and first principle studies to analyze their performance as anode material in recharge batteries. The work encompasses dynamic simulations to understand the mechanism of intercalation with emphasis on their structural capability.

Personal Investigator: Dr. Sangita SenIn the presence of a static magnetic field, magnetic circular dichroism is a kind of magneto-optical spectroscopy in which a circularly polarised optical light is applied as the probing field. They're particularly difficult to simulate since they have to deal with the perturbations of both a static magnetic field and an optical field at the same time. Therefore, we presented an ab initio method for modeling MCD spectra that uses London orbitals to treat the external magnetic field non-perturbatively.

Team Leader of the Scientific Case Study organized by The Australian National University on "Water Pollution in India" specifically targeting redundancy of Dam and Dam break associated problems. Tackling sensitive issues and providing viable solutions including alternatives for energy source generation considering the geographic location and socio-political background.
