Stephen has over thirty years' experience working with national organisations as a leader and senior manager. He has been chief executive of several national charities, on the board and chair of national and local charities, leader of a London borough and represented local government across London, and non-executive director of health bodies in London and Norfolk. Currently he is CEO of Hallmark Care Homes Foundation, focusing on ageing well and improving care, and the Goyal Foundation, empowering children, young people and women to tackle disadvantage in the UK and India. Stephen is co-founder of the pioneering social enterprise, United for All Ages. He also co-founded Good Care Guide and the Campaign to End Loneliness amongst other initiatives and has led mergers of charities to create Grandparents Plus and the Family Mediation Trust. Stephen is chair/trustee of various intergenerational, care, ageing and family organisations and recently was appointed as chair of the Family Mediation Council. He is also a coach and mentor for rising stars.
