Clinical Director of the Emergency and Specialty Medicine CSU comprising:Two Adult Emergency Departments and one Paediatric Emergency Department in Leeds. 220,000 new patients with 38 consultants in EM and PEM. Two Clinical Decision Units and co-located Primary Care facilities in both adult EDs. Acute Medicine including four acute wards, a HOBS area and an embedded medical assessment unit in the ED. Elderly Medicine including four acute wards, four specialty wards, six medically optimised for discharge wards, an embedded frailty unit in ED, community geriatrics, orthogeriatrics, falls and movement disorders. Infection and travel medicine with the regional centre for HIV inpatients. HIV outpatients and sexual health clinics via consultants in GUM. Integrated Leeds Sexual Health service via an innovative collaboration of LTHT and Leeds Community Health. Diabetes and Endocrinology. Two general medicine wards with general diabetes and endocrinology clinics. Specialist outpatient clinics in adolescent diabetes, perinatal diabetes, pituitary and thyroid endocrinology and osteoporosis clinics. Primary Care Access Line for primary care direct referrals to specialist units.
