Service Engineer
CurrentDuring my time as a Service Engineer with PulmOne, I gained experience in numerous areas of the Medical Device Industry thanks to the large volume of responsibilties I was assigned with. Those areas on growth include: - Medical device design, verification, and validation - Medical device manufacturing and repair processes - FDA regulatory standards for devices, facilities, and interal operations - Direct clinical customer support and feedback collection - Effective communcation and strategy across all company departmentsWhile in office, I spend much of my time diagnosing, repairing, and testing customer pulmonary function testing devices. I was given the responsibility of heading the repair lab and ensuring customer devices were attended to promptly and in accordance to industry standards. This included creating an efficient workflow plan, creating progress logs, and corresponding with finance and inventory departments. In addition to laboratory management, I also answer incoming service calls from clinics to help ensure the device is providing accurate and efficient tests. This would often include aiding clinicians in proper equipment use, diagnosing malfunctioning equipment, and relaying repair plans and updates to customers. I also spend a significant amount of time traveling to different clinics to assist with onsite installation and training. While face to face with customers, I also collect feedback on how we can improve and relay that back with my team.
