I have had over 48 years of continuous experience in my career, I would have to say that I have performed at all levels of management, to include hiring, firing, payroll, budgets and all associated with law enforcement subjects. I specialized in Investigations. At the prosecutors office I performed investigations, copied and prepared evidence, photographed various crime scenes, served summons and subpoenas, prepared discoverys, located defendants and witnesses, handled walk-ins, handled bad checks and assisted prosecutors in preparing cases for trials. I am a former police chief as well, having worked up from a reserve officer to the top position before retiring and moving on further in the field. I have now spent 5+ years at Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department as a security deputy at the Government Center and have now been promoted to Sergeant, supervisor over security of both the Government Center and the Hendricks County Courthouse.
