As a partner in the Asset Management & Investment Funds group at A&L Goodbody, Stephen advises international asset management firms and investment banks in relation to the establishment and authorisation of all types of investment funds including UCITS, AIFs, hedge funds, property funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs) as well as authorisation of UCITS and alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs). Stephen also acts for the promoters of, and service providers to, Irish domiciled investment funds including investment managers, fund administrators and custodians in relation to custody, administration, prime brokerage and other service agreements. Prior to joining A&L Goodbody, Stephen was an associate in the Asset Management and Investment Funds group at William Fry. Stephen has also worked within the legal and compliance department of RBC Dexia Investor Services, an international fund administration and custody services provider in Dublin and on the product governance team of BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited (formerly Barclays Global Investors) in London.
