Responsible for Transport and Main Roads Metropolitan Region Incident Management field services for traffic and incident management capability, including contracts for "Quick Clearance" towing operations, Heavy Vehicle Recovery Units (HVRU) and Traffic Response Unit (TRU) services. Responsible for delivery of Queensland Government Congestion Management Initiatives Package projects, including nine (9) Satellite Depots (caches) within South East Queensland, Open Roads Policy and Legislation amendments, Queensland Police Service presence in the Brisbane Metropolitan Transport Management Centre BMTMC), and assistance with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) roll-out and planning. Represent TMR Metropolitan Region in Congestion Management Task Force Working Group and multi-agency group responsible for establishing incident response bench marks and high level reporting.Develop, scope and procure world first incident management tools such as the TRUMAX units and Heavy Vehicle Response Units (HVRU) Prepare business cases, including qualitative and quantitative information for DTMR Director General and Minister for Main Roads approval.Provide financial management reports include forecasting, accruals and analysis on projects monthly to senior management.
