Excited to have just returned (Sept'21) to the world of professional services to head up restructuring within Grant Thornton. It is great to be back and tasked with growing and enhancing the GT presence and offering in this space. Looking forward to drawing on my 25+ years experience in the recovery and insolvency market as I return to providing advice and solutions to distressed businesses, financial institutions and wider stakeholders. I have a strong belief and track record for seeking to provide early and timely advice in distressed situations, this often being key to what options and solutions are available, and to avoid or minimise the risk of formal insolvency where possible. Having also spent a proportion of my time in recent years advising performing non-distressed businesses, I am also looking forward to working with GT clients (current and future) and other corporates to add value across a broad spectrum of areas.

COO at Premier Electrics - as a former private business Partner with PwC, I spent many enjoyable years advising and delivering added value solutions to corporate businesses and their key stakeholders. In 2019, I decided to make the move to the corporate side of the table, seeking to deploy my skills and experience from inside the corporate and play my part in assisting Premier Electrics implement key aspects of their future strategy. The journey was enjoyable and skills enhancing, with significant time being spent navigating the business successfully through the unforeseen COVID19 pandemic and BREXIT. What however did become clear as time progressed was that I missed the world of professional services and the advisor space.

Spent 26 years with and former Partner at PwC in Northern Ireland. During my successful career at PwC I spent the majority of my time advising and working alongside corporate clients and their stakeholders to deliver "added value" solutions.
