After many years of working primarily in the federal construction sector with random commercial, municipal, and private projects interjected at times, my path in life has led to Lee Lewis Construction working on commercial, private, municipal, higher education, and K-12 school projects. It has proven to be a great company that is results and relationship oriented with a significant emphasis on a team approach to successful projects.As a project executive my role is to oversee project managers and their project delivery teams, review financial and progress status of projects, provide executive level team building support, and report project status to the local office VP and make recommendations as needed. This company and role have been fantastic!

Solis Constructors, Inc. prided itself in quality, fair, timely and budget conscious delivery of projects regardless of the customer. My position as Director of Government Operations was primarily to oversee all aspects of Military Construction efforts with various US Army Corps of Engineer District, Area, and Resident offices at Military installations throughout the Southwest USA.I feel honored and fortunate to have been part of such a great team. My work history with ASD Consultants, Inc. includes successful marketing to DoD procurement agencies as an SBA 8(a) Small Business Development program participant. My marketing efforts yielded sole source negotiated contracts, two 8(a) competitive bid multi-million dollar military facility construction contracts (under separate Joint Venture relationships coordinated under my guidance) and a 4 year 8(a) multi-million dollar military IDIQ contract for renovations and construction of new facilities. The successfully completed 8(a) sole source negotiated construction contracts included a working animal housing facility for the Dept of VA in Arizona, Renovation of a Burnt Specialized Function Building for the US Air Force, Renovations to a Fire Fighter Vehicle Maintenance Facility for the US Air Force and many others. The 8(a) competitive military construction contract was accomplished via Buffalo Gap Joint Venture (BGJV), which I set up and gained approval from the SBA for. BGJV was an SBA approved 8(a) joint venture between ASD Consultants, Inc. (8a) and Jay Reese Contractors, Inc. for the the construction of a Refueling Vehicle Maintenance Facility at Dyess AFB under contract with the Fort Worth District US Army Corps of Engineers. The requirement was solicited and awarded as an 8(a) competitive procurement in excess of $4mil. Under 8(a) guidelines, each approved joint venture can be for a specific contract only therefore BGJV was dissolved upon the successful completion of the project. The project was completed ahead of schedule and within the cost and time growth thresholds established by the customer, Air Combat Command-US Department of the Air Force.The IDIQ contract is valued at $20mil over 4 years for facility maintenance and construction at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, TX. I complete the first task order for ASD Consultants, Inc. there before moving on to make my mark in large MILCON projects with Solis Constructors, Inc.
